College athletes have a brand-new look at Austin Peay State University after the school launched a new logo Tuesday and updated appearance of its mascot.
It's the first logo change there in 36 years, part of the overall push from the university to promote a culture of excellence that will go beyond sports.
The new-look governor is showing a little attitude. He's tougher and determined.
Meanwhile, work continues on a multi-million dollar stadium construction project due to be complete this fall.
That, along with the new brand, has the Governors feeling feisty.
After going winless in his first year, head football coach Kirby Cannon has changed the culture. The Governors will play their spring game at Fort Campbell on April 26.
