DECATURVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

New details have been released about a criminal charge for Zachary Adams, who is charged in connection to the murder of missing nursing student Holly Bobo.

The TBI announced on Tuesday that 29-year-old Adams is also charged with a single count of coercion of a witness.

Officials say Adams learned an inmate was being transferred to the facility where his brother was being held.

He allegedly told the inmate to pass along a message to his brother threatening to harm him if he talked about the case, saying "if he don't shut his mouth he will be in the hole beside her."

Adams, who is being held at the Chester County Jail without bond, pleaded not guilty last month to kidnapping and murder in Bobo's disappearance.

Bobo was 20 years old when she disappeared outside her Darden, TN, home on April 13, 2011, as Bobo's brother, Clint, saw her being led away from the home between 7:30 and 8 a.m.

Her body has not been found.
