Coroner IDs driver who died in Aiken Co. crash

A 22-year-old man is dead after a single-vehicle crash on John Nunn Highway early Monday, according to the Aiken County Coroner's Office. 

Tyler J. Major of North Charleston, S.C., was traveling south on John Nunn Highway when he ran off the right side of the road around 5:27 a.m., overcorrected and then rolled over several times, according to the coroner's office. 

Major was ejected from the vehicle. He was flown to Palmetto Richland Hospital in Columbia, S.C., where he later died from his injuries.

Major was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the coroner's office. A toxicology report is pending.
