NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police have arrested someone in connection to an attempted murder case from November.

Louis Waters, 18, was arrested on charges of attempted murder and especially aggravated robbery. His bond has been set at $250,000.

Police say Waters and another man broke into a house on 40th Avenue North on Nov. 22.

The victim tried running out of the house to get away. Police say the men followed him out to his car and shot him in the stomach.

The victim told police that Waters had been at a Halloween party at his house less than a month before the shooting and lived in the neighborhood.

The victim's injuries are permanent and have changed his life.

It's unclear if police have identified the second suspect in the case.
