College students join together for "Hoodie Sunday"

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Hundreds of college students came together this afternoon to remember the life of Trayvon Martin. Today was coined "Hoodie Sunday."

They came out to encourage one another to bring about a positive change in their communities.

The second phase of the movement will take place this Tuesday through Thursday. Each day students will march down to Legislative Plaza to draw attention to three issues: racial profiling, raising the state minimum wage and immigration laws.
