LEBANON, TN (WSMV) -

Jon and Marion Setzer, the couple killed in a Lebanon explosion, were laid to rest today.

First Church of Nazarene Pastor Kevin Ulmet says, "he'll always remember Jon and Marion Setzer, as a couple deeply committed to Christ, who brought up their children in a loving, church centered home."

The Setzer's family released a statement this morning which read in part, "The calls, emails, messages, meals, visits and most of all prayers, have been a tremendous source of strength, and constant reminder of the kind of love that we all learned from Jon and Marion."

Last week, John Setzer was killed in an explosion at the couple's home just outside of Lebanon, while Marion Setzer later died of her injuries at Vanderbilt Medical Hospital.

The couple's son-in-law Richard Parker, has been charged with placing a packaged bomb in the house.

Ulmet told Channel 4, Parker also has strong faith, and the congregation has been left shocked and confused by the charges.

No information has been released on why the bomb was set.

Family members and investigators say they can't discuss any possible motives, for fear of jeopardizing the case.
