NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro Nashville Public Schools is considering new buildings to replace Hillsboro and Hillwood high schools rather than going forward with expensive renovations of the two aging facilities.

A district spokesman confirmed school officials would soon begin the process of creating master plans for both schools.

Schools Director Dr. Jesse Register said it could mean moving Hillwood closer to Bellevue while keeping Hillsboro in the Green Hills area.
