Two suspects arrested in death of woman in White County

SPARTA, TN (WSMV) -

Authorities in White County have arrested a man and woman from Sparta in the death of a Cookeville woman last weekend.

The sheriff's office and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Brian Anthony Logan and Miranda Michelle Brown are suspected in the death of Jill Farley.

Investigators said Logan and Brown met Farley at the Dollar General Store on Roberts Matthews Highway, and she was later found dead.

Further details about their meeting haven't been released.

Logan and Brown were jailed on $1 million bond each, facing charges of first-degree murder and aggravated robbery.

Additionally, Brown is charged with felony drug manufacturing, delivery or selling, while Logan is also charged with drug-free school zone violation, probation violation, criminal impersonation and felony drug manufacturing, delivery or selling.
