HENDERSONVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Two men are accused of attacking a woman in an effort to find who hit one of their cars, police said Thursday.

Brandon McEntyre, 34, and Michael Dancer, 55, are charged with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault and simple assault, Lt. Scott Ryan with the Hendersonville Police Department said in an email.

The incident started early Feb. 4, when McEntyre reported to police that someone hit his car while leaving a home on Nokes Drive and kept driving.

Investigators later got a report that McEntyre and Dancer attacked a 33-year-old woman who lived in the home.

They were allegedly trying to find the person responsible for the hit-and-run. The woman suffered minor injuries in the assault, Ryan said.

Both men were arrested Wednesday evening and taken to Sumner County Jail. They are each held on $20,000 bond and due in court March 12.
