(RNN) - Enough chatter - it's Grammys time, and this year's show has quite the lineup of performers.
Not only will we see a performance by the two surviving members of the Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, but they'll also be receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award. We aren't sure how the Grammy trust chooses its recipients, but we're pretty sure the Beatles are long overdue for this honor.
The other winners of the 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award are Clifton Chenier, the Isley Brothers, Kraftwerk, Kris Kristofferson, Armando Manzanero and Maud Powell. To view past winners, click here.
Viewers will also see some epic collaborations including Sara Bareilles with Carole King; Daft Punk with Nile Rodgers, Pharrell Williams and Stevie Wonder; Kendrick Lamar with Imagine Dragons; Robin Thicke with Chicago; and Merle Haggard with Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and Blake Shelton.
And, for all of you Queen Bey believers, it has been rumored Beyonce and Jay Z will perform ... possibly even together. CBS allegedly aired a promo announcing the performance, but the video has been taken down and the Grammys are remaining hush-hush. So we can't confirm it, but we can sure hope for it.
It was also announced on Tuesday the show will have a rockin' finale full of legends. The performers will include Foo Fighters lead singer Dave Grohl, Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age and Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckinham - all of which appeared in Grohl's Grammy-nominated debut documentary, Sound City: Real to Reel.
Other artists set to perform include John Legend, Lorde, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Pink featuring Nate Ruess, Kacey Musgraves, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.

Beck is back
If you're a Beck fan, 2014 is turning out to be a good year indeed.
The singer will release his first album in eight years, Morning Phase, on Feb. 25. And if you're curious what the album will sound like, he's already put out a preview of one of the songs, titled Blue Moon.
The minute-and-a-half preview, which serves as the background music to a video of him cutting the vinyl of his new album, is melancholic and actually quite beautiful.
Beck said the album will serve as a companion piece to his 2002 album Sea Change. In fact, several of the tracks on Morning Phase, including Blue Moon, were recorded years ago for an album that never materialized, according toRolling Stone.
Beck took a long hiatus between albums in order to build his own studio, produce other artists and because of a spinal injury, he said in an interview with Argentine magazine Pagina/12.
He produced albums for Charlotte Gainsbourg, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, Thurston Moore and Dwight Yoakam.
"In the last five years I decided to have more time to devote to producing. I think it was healthy to be on the other side of the glass in the studio. I gained perspective from helping others," he said.
He didn't mention the cause of the spinal injury, but he did say it wouldn't affect his onstage performance.
"I had severe damage to my spine, but now it's improving, so I'm back in the music," he said. "It was a long, long recovery. Lately, I concentrated on playing guitar. Do not think I can move again as before, although I can give a lot onstage."
Either way, we're just glad Beck's feeling better and ready for a comeback.
In news that dismantles our music-loving souls, Anberlin is hanging up their instruments for good. (This is our official, shameless, in-print plea to the band to reconsider).
The band announced on their website that their next album and tour will be their last.
There is no word yet on when the album will be drop other than sometime this year.
In the meantime, the band will return to the Warped Tour this summer.
In honor of more than a decade of fist-pumping, soul-searching music, we count down the best of Anberlin …
We aren't sure what's in the water on tour lately ... but lots of musical offspring will be making their debut in 2014.
Singer Kelly Clarkson, channeling her inner maternal instincts, predicted she would be having a girl.
This week, she tweeted "We just found out we're having a girl officially! I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!"
It's Clarkson's first child. She is a stepmom to two, so she's already had some practice at parenting.
It's a boy for No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani and Bush lead singer/husband Gavin Rossdale. Stefani kept quiet about her baby bump until she Instagrammed a photo of herself wearing a crown this week, with the message "I was ready to hand over the crown but I guess I am still queen of the house. #itsaboy #surroundedbyboys".
Stefani and Rossdale have two sons, Kingston, 7, and Zuma Nesta Rock, 5.
The couple married in 2002.
And while we don't know the gender, R&B singer Ciara announced she is expecting her first child. CNN reports the baby is due in May.
Forget the cold, spring music festivals are almost here
Despite the polar vortex that is currently consuming the country, spring is rapidly approaching. And with it, spring music festivals.
So let us take you away from the snow and frigid weather for a minute, and transport you to the beaches of Gulf Shores, AL and the warm, sunny weather that will accompany some amazing music at this year's Hangout Festival.
Not only will Outkast be making a stop at this year's festival, as a part of their thank you to fans for 20-years tour, but The Black Keys, The Killers, Jack Johnson, Queens of the Stone Age, The Flaming Lips and Pretty Lights will join them as headliners.
But wait, it doesn't stop there. Modest Mouse, The Avett Brothers, Zedd, Amos Lee, Ingrid Michaelson, Tegan and Sara, Allen Stone, Needtobreathe, and the 1975 will also perform, among many others.
