Vehicle involved in fire at Joel D. Valdez Main Library (Source: Tucson News Now)
TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
The Joel D. Valdez Main Library will remain closed today,
due to an earlier vehicle fire in the underground parking structure.
An alarm went off at shortly before the library's
opening at 9 a.m., stated a Pima County Public Library spokesperson. Tucson Fire responded to the call and
shortly after arriving on scene had the fire under control. There were no injuries reported, stated Tucson Fire officials.
The library, which was due to reopen when the smoke
cleared, will now remain closed until Saturday.
