NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Reports of icy roads are coming in from all over Middle Tennessee.

All drivers are urged to drive with caution and be on the lookout for patches of black ice.

Wilson County dispatch says all roads, even the main interstates, are slick, and they are calling in salt trucks.

Drivers from Hendersonville are reporting bad conditions.

Black ice is being reported on secondary roads in Nashville.

A report came in of black ice on Holly Tree Gap Road in Brentwood.

Slick conditions are being reported on Rural Hill Road at Rice Road and on Hickory Highlands Drive.

Saundersville Road was shut down near General Kershaw Drive in Hermitage on Friday morning after a car hit a utility pole, knocking power lines onto the road. Multiple vehicles went into a ditch in that area. The road has since reopened.

Many counties in the Midstate have delayed or canceled school for Friday. Click here to see the most updated Snowbird closings list.
