Pot amnesty box at Colorado Springs airport

Posted: Updated:

Passengers flying out of Colorado Springs now have a place to dispose of their pot before boarding their flight.

An amnesty box has been set up outside of the TSA security checkpoint, so flyers can get rid of their marijuana.

Passengers can receive a fine of up to 25-hundred dollars if they're found trying to conceal marijuana while flying.

They can still however leave marijuana in their vehicle while it's parked at the airport.
