One student arrested at Red Bank High School

A student at Red Bank High School was arrested Monday after he became involved in a verbal argument with another student on campus. 

Red Bank Police tell Channel 3 the argument escalated to the point where the student was trying to get the other student to engage in a physical altercation. 

An administrator attempted to break it up, but when the student tried to start a physical altercation with the other student, a school resource officer decided to place the student in custody.

That's when the student became unruly and began to fight with the school resource officer. That's when the students brother became involved and started to fight the school resource officer.  Both the student and his brother were arrested.

The initial student involved, who is a juvenile was charged with Assault and Disorderly Conduct and transported to Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center. 

This students brother identified as 18-year-old Edward Springs who is not a student at Red Bank High School was charged with Assault, Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Trespass.  He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail. 

No injuries were reported.
