PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Two men have been arrested for allegedly running a meth operation in the Valley.

Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, Sheriff Joe Arpaio, said there was an undercover investigation on Thursday after they got a tip of drugs sold near 27th Avenue and Camelback Road.

Through the search warrants, detectives recovered six pounds of methamphetamine with an estimated value of more than $75,000.

Miguel Vasquez-Gastelum and Horacio Sanchez were charged with possession of dangerous drugs for sale. They both were placed on ICE holds.

Officers also issued a search warrant at the home in the area for a massage parlor fronting for a thriving marijuana dispensary. Arpaio said his office is working on a new Valley-wide crime operation targeting criminals violating Arizona drug laws with an emphasis on street-level drug violations.
