A historic Trousdale County home was destroyed by fire Wednesday afternoon.
The fire was reported along State Route 141, about three miles north of Hartsville, according to Trousdale County Sheriff Ray Russell.
Officials said the home was built in 1854.
Nobody was hurt, and the fire appears to have started when a wood stove overheated.
