EAST RIDGE, Tenn. (AP) - An endangered child alert has been issued for a Tennessee man and 7-month-old boy last seen in East Ridge just outside of Chattanooga.

The Knoxville News Sentinel reported (http://bit.ly/1gfN6VY ) that East Ridge police were looking for the toddler, Jeffery Cocke, and his non-custodial father, Joseph Franklin Jr.

Police say Franklin went to the boy's home and took the baby while the mother had gone out to pick up medicine for the sick child.

Franklin is a white male, standing approximately five-feet, seven-inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He has brown eyes and red hair that is beginning to gray.

East Ridge police say Franklin has active warrants against him in both Tennessee and Georgia.

Franklin was driving a red 2011 Toyota Corolla with Tennessee license plate number 430-YBQ.
