Crews battle barn fire in Sumner Co.

SUMNER COUNTY, TN (WSMV) -

Firefighters put out a blaze at a barn in Sumner County on Thursday morning.

The Cottonwood Volunteer Fire Department first responded to the fire on the 1200 block of Upper Station Camp Creek Rd.

They say the fire may have started around 5:50 a.m. Thursday.

No one was hurt and none of the livestock were said to have been harmed in the fire.

Officials say the fire did not pose a threat to nearby buildings.

The cause of the fire has not been released at this time.
