The country music star who set the standard for live concert production in the 1990s is back. Garth Brooks is ready to tour the world again, and he's taking his whole band with him.
Brooks remains the top-selling recording artist of the last two decades, with about 125 million albums sold.
But he stopped touring and recording new music in 2001. Back then, he said being a dad mattered more to him, and he wouldn't go back on the road until his youngest daughter turned 18 years old.
And that time is now.
Still, it's not like Brooks has put the guitar in the closet for the last few years. He's been playing regular shows in Las Vegas since 2009.
For now, there aren't any other details on the upcoming tour, but it's likely Music City will be among the concert stops.
