Murfreesboro police say several days of phone threats against the Rutherford County sheriff have turned into a harassment case.
Investigators say David Goad called Murfreesboro police dispatch about 20 times over the course of three days.
According to police reports, the conversations ranged from flirting with dispatchers to profanity-laced threats against Sheriff Robert Arnold.
The sheriff's office tells Channel 4 News that Arnold doesn't know Goad, and police have set up extra patrol on Arnold's home as a precaution.
Bedford County deputies tried to find Goad at his home, but they couldn't. When they catch him, he'll be wanted in Murfreesboro on a harassment charge.
