CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) -

Cleveland Heights police and the FBI are looking for the suspects who robbed the First Merit Bank on Tuesday morning.

It happened at the branch at 87 Circle just before 10 a.m.

One suspect brandished a handgun and jumped over the counter, telling the employees to get down on the ground. The other suspect stood by the door making sure no one entered the branch.

The suspects, described as thin black men in their 20s,  wore dark hoodies with skull caps underneath of the hoodies. They both were wearing gray sweatpants , one suspect was wearing sneakers and the other was wearing Timberland-style boots.

After the heist, the suspects both fled the scene on foot.

It is believed these suspects may be the same individuals responsible for the armed robbery that occurred at the Ohio Savings Bank on Lee Road in Cleveland Heights on November 22.

The suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.

Tips can be provided to the Cleveland FBI at 216-522-1400 or the Cleveland Heights Police Department.  Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individuals responsible for these robberies.
