George Jones tribute concert will be 'who's who' of country music

Posted: Updated:

George Jones had planned to perform the final show of his final tour this week in Nashville, but the country music legend died in April.

The show must go on, though, so dozens of his fellow artists are getting ready for a tribute concert at Bridgestone Arena in his honor.

Performances are expected from Alabama, Alan Jackson, Blake Shelton, Charlie Daniels, Eric Church, Emmylou Harris, George Strait, Josh Turner, Martina McBride, Miranda Lambert, Montgomery Gentry, the Oak Ridge Boys, Pam Tillis, Patty Loveless, Reba McEntire, Rodney Atkins, Travis Tritt, Vince Gill and many others.

A limited number of tickets may still be available, and organizers plan to display the concert on screens outside Bridgestone Arena for others who want to watch.
