HARTSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A 75-year-old woman died in a house fire in Trousdale County on Tuesday morning.

The victim's name is Juanita Jackson. Jackson is said to have been confined to a wheelchair.

Officials said Jackson's husband went out to get something and came home to find the house on Highway 141 South fully in flames.

"The first priority was finding her and getting to her and retrieving the body," said Trousdale County Fire Chief Jimmy Anthony. "From the size of the fire, I think she was already gone because it apparently started in the room where she was."

Trying to put out the flames, Anthony said crews took nearly 20 trips back and forth from Hartsville to reload water.

"Out in a rural area, that is just the way we have to do it," said Anthony. "There's very few fire hydrants out in the county. Probably 40,000 gallons of water we've hauled."

Crews are investigating the cause of the fire.
