UPDATE: Some Walker Co residents to be without water rest of day

ROSSVILLE, GA (WRCB) -

Walker County Water & Sewerage is working to repair a water main break in Rossville.

The water company says the break is on Lytle Road. Crews are working to shut off the valve.

Repair crews say once they start digging, it will take them at least six hours to repair the damage and customers will likely be without water for the rest of the day.

Officials with Walker County say once the valve is shut off, most customers should have their services restored.

It is unclear what caused the break.
