NOLENSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A soldier got quite the welcome as he moved his new home.

Spec. Andrew Wilson cut the ribbon on the house Saturday morning in Nolensville.

He was wounded by an IED while serving in Afghanistan in 2011 and loss both legs.

Spec. Wilson wasn't sure what his future would hold, but thanks to "Homes for our Troops," he and his family now have a brand new house adapted for  Wilson's needs.

"When I woke up on October 20th, I look down, they told me both my legs were amputated. I had no idea where life was going take me. Where I am now, I wouldn't worry about  thing," says Wilson.

As part of Saturday's homecoming, Wilson was reunited with the men he credits with saving his life.
