Organization seeking children's bicycles

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A local organization is asking for the community to donate new and used children's bicycles.

The ReCYCLE for Kids program provides bicycles, helmets and safety education for students.

The organization is looking for bikes with wheels that are 20 inches in diameter or smaller. The donated bikes can be in any condition as long as they can be cleaned and refurbished.

Hands On Nashville will be hosting events in four different locations between 2 and 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Here are the locations where you can donate:

Donelson:
Stones River Greenway, at the Kohl's Department Store area Trailhead
2330 Jackson Downs Blvd., 37076 (this is Kohl's address)

North:
Hartman Park Community Center
2801 Tucker Rd., 37218

East:
Cornelia Fort Airpark Trailhead
2640 Airpark Dr., 37206

West:
Harpeth River Greenway
7600 Old Harding Pike, 37221
