Hopkinsville man arrested for allegedly killing his girlfriend

HOPKINSVILLE, KY (WSMV) -

A Hopkinsville man has been arrested for allegedly killing his girlfriend Friday night.

According to Hopkinsville PD, officers responded to a possible shooting on 2019 Sheena Ave.

Neighbors say Dennis Sills showed up at their home and stated that he shot his girlfriend with a .22 rifle.

The coroner's office pronounced one female victim dead on the scene.

Officers found a rifle and two shell casings there.

Sills was arrested for Murder Domestic Violence.

He remains in the Christian Co. jail on a $100,000 bond.
