Electricity restored after crash in Smyrna

SMYRNA, TN (WSMV) -

Power has been restored for nearly 2,000 customers in Smyrna after a vehicle struck a utility pole Wednesday evening.

The crash was reported about 7 p.m. in the area of Sam Ridley Parkway.

At one point, some 1,960 customers lost electricity, but Middle Tennessee Electric reported service was back on for everyone by about 9 p.m.
