CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – The team of Seth Davis and Jacob Wheeler edged out 29 other teams to take 1st place in the September CFF tournament held on Chickamauga Lake. Davis and Wheeler caught a three-bass limit weighing 14.00 pounds to take the win and first place prize.
The duo also weighed in the biggest fish of the tournament with a largemouth bass weighing 5.01 pounds.
Davis and Wheeler reported catching their fish early on in the tournament near heavy grass using a variety of top-water lures and frogs.
This was the final tournament of ten in the CFF Tournament Trail. Their year-end classic will be held October 19th and 20th.
