The inspectors at the Hamilton County Health Department had a great week, reporting no failing grades among the 35 restaurants inspected.
However before you head on over to one restaurant on Lee Highway, it's best to check their score of a 78 at Taco Roc. Remember a failing grade is any score lower than a 70.
According to Chief Inspector Jack Falcon, they earned a 78 because of unlabeled chemicals in the kitchen, walls and floor need fixing, the shelving for food was dirty, along with the microwave and the food in the cooler was uncovered.
The high score of the week is a three way tie - hats off to Teriyaki of Japan on Ringgold Road, Crave Cafe & Bakery at Warehouse Row and the newly-opened Einstein Brothers Bagels in East Brainerd. All got a 97.
