Kemp Drive fire burn victim dies from injuries

86 year-old Andrew Broomfield, the man pulled from his burning home on Kemp Drive last week has died.

He passed away Thursday at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia.

Mr. Broomfield had 2nd and 3rd degree burns to approximately 70% of his body.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
