(WRCB) - Good Wednesday. Great weather for a duck! One or two frog stranglers! Maybe even throw in a gully washer or two. You get the idea.
We will see rain on and off all day today as low pressure moves by to our south pumping in moisture from the gulf. Low pressure to our west will stir up the air, allowing for scattered showers throughout the day.
Typically, when we see the rain coming in from the south, little to no thunderstorms are involved. We will certainly see no severe weather.
After all is said and done today, we can expect about 1" to 1 1/2" of rain on the ground.
Highs today will stay in the mid 70s.
The rain showers will begin to taper off this evening, but we may even see a sprinkle or two lasting into Thursday. We will definitely see some good cloud cover Thursday. The rain chance is only 20%.
Highs Thursday will be in the low 80s.
Friday through the weekend will be dry and comfortable with partly cloudy skies and highs around 83.
We will see clouds building late Sunday as a front washes out over us, but I expect little to no rain from this system.
