Glenrose Avenue at Old Glenrose Avenue in south Nashville is closed due to a semi crash and will remain closed through morning rush hour.
The driver was heading east on Glenrose when officials say he made a wrong turn onto Old Glenrose. When he realized he couldn't get over that tight incline, he started to back up, which is when his vehicle's back wheel fell into a ditch.
Officials say he tried to jump, which is when the tanker rolled over onto him, breaking his legs.
The tanker is carrying about 8,400 gallons of fuel.
Crews will have to unload the fuel before righting the truck. To do that, they'll have to close down Glenrose, but they will wait until 7 a.m.
