Today is a day when prisoners of war and others declared missing in action are remembered.
In Cleveland members of the Veterans of Foreign War Post 2598 took time to remember the more than 90,000 POW/MIA from World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. Roughly 54,000 MIA's remain in Vietnam.
Their hope is that more missing servicemen and women will be found so they can reunited with their country and bring closure to the families.
POW/MIA Recognition day is observed on the third Friday of September.
