A former employee with Health Connect America, a company that contracts with various state departments to provide services to juveniles, was indicted by the Monroe County grand jury on six counts of statutory rape.

29-year-old Jamie Tesoro of Knoxville turned herself in on charges related to having sex with one of the minors she was assigned to help in Monroe County after she was indicted by the grand jury.

According to the TBI, Tesoro began a sexual relationship with an underage minor in December 2012 that she was assigned to counsel through the Monroe County juvenile probation office.

The relationship ended in May 2013 when the 10th Judicial District Attorney General's office requested TBI to investigate.

The Department of Children's Services and Monroe County Sheriff's Department assisted in the investigation.

Tesoro was booked into the Monroe County jail on $25,000 bond.
