NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Two Dickson County deputies continue to recover after they were involved in a collision that killed a man Friday night.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says the deputies were responding to a call when a car driven by Clyde Faling allegedly failed to yield and turned into the path of their cruiser just before 8 p.m. on Highway 46 near Barbeque Road.

Faling, 90, of Dickson, died following the crash.

The two officers in the cruiser - Ronald Tilley, 47, and Sarah McCartney, 30 - were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center by ambulance for treatment of their injuries.

McCartney suffered scrapes and bruises, along with a torn muscle in her pelvic area, officials said. Tilley suffered a concussion and scrapes and bruises.
