ATLANTA, GA (WSMV) -

Two Tennesseans are officially considered part of their sport's all-time best.

Boots Donnelly and Phillip Fulmer were inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame on Wednesday night.

The two were part of a 24-man class at the ceremony.

Donnelly helped make Middle Tennessee State University football into what it is today.

Fulmer led Tennessee to the first ever BCS championship.

Donnelly had a large number of family and friends present at the ceremony. Event organizers made a point of announcing he had nine tables of people there to support him.
