CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The veteran team of John Gudel and John Green won the H & J Heating and Air August CBA Open night tournament held this weekend on Chickamauga Lake.
Gudel and Green caught a five bass limit weighing 24.84 pounds to take the win. For the victory they took home a check for $2,000 plus $100 for being the highest finishing TowBoat U.S. The win also qualifies them for an extra $2,000 in bonus money from the Stratos Boats double your winnings incentive program.
Finishing in second was the team of Barry Wingo and Jeff Hineman with a five bass limit weighing 23.40 pounds. Their catch was anchored by a giant 10.55 pound largemouth bass which won overall big fish of the tournament. They walked away with $600 for second plus $210 for the big fish.
Jeff and Josh Reed won the biggest spot award with a spotted bass weighing 2.15 pounds and earned them $70.
The duo of Chris Coffey and Nick Pratt won the biggest smallmouth award and $70 with a smallmouth bass weighing 3.87 pounds.
