Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville kicked off its 2013 Fall Build Season with Mayor Karl Dean on Saturday.
Two houses were built in the Hallmark subdivision in Nashville to get the season started.
The General Motors Foundation donated $70,000 toward the two houses constructed Saturday and will be joined by other home sponsors and Habitat partner families.
