Federal building reopens after bomb threat

The Estes Kefauver Federal Building in downtown has been reopened after an earlier bomb threat.

Officials cleared the building after receiving the threat about 6 a.m. on Friday.

Authorities searched the building, located at 801 Broadway, and did not find anything suspicious.

The building houses several federal agencies and the federal courts in Nashville.
