GILBERT, AZ (CBS5) -

Gilbert police have released a sketch of a suspect who carjacked a Geo Prizm in Gilbert and ended up dragging the victim through the apartment complex parking lot.

Gilbert police spokesman Sgt. Jesse Sanger said the victim had minor injuries in the attack near Arizona Avenue and Guadalupe Road about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday.

The victim's car, a 1990 red Geo Prizm was found at 8:20 a.m. in a business parking lot just south of the apartment complex.

The man is described as Hispanic between 25 to 30 years old. He is 6' tall and weighs between 180 to 200 pounds. He has an average build and speaks with a faint Spanish accent, police said.

The suspect was last seen wearing a short-sleeved T-shirt, blue plaid shorts and white sneakers. The suspect has a tattoo on his upper lip that says "South" with an unknown second word.
