WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Several areas around New Hanover County dealt with localized flooding due to heavy rainfall on Saturday.

All flood advisories have now expired but according to First Alert Digital Doppler Radar, over four inches of rain fell near the Monkey Junction area of Wilmington.

There were reports of flooding in the Pine Valley neighborhood.

On Sentry Oaks Dr. near the Myrtle Grove Area, resident Steve Ovsak said the flooding was the worst he's ever seen.

"If I have to go somewhere, for anything, I can't, but especially in the case of an emergency, you can't get out," said Ovsak.
