Two men blowing their cool is the reason behind a seven-car pileup Wednesday morning on I-24 West, during morning rush hour.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol said a case of road rage is to blame for the mess that involved innocent people, and sent one person to the hospital.
Authorities said the two men at the center of the road rage incident stopped their cars in a lane of travel on I-24 West, near the Waldron Road exit, around 6 a.m.
Five other vehicles crashed into two vehicles.
The Highway Patrol cited the two men, who were arguing, for reckless driving, reckless endangerment and following too closely.
