CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The father and son team of Jeff and Josh Reed caught a five-bass limit weighing 27.11 pounds to win first place and $2,000 in the Heatherley Brothers Construction & Roofing Co. July CBA Open night tournament.
The duo also won the over-all big-fish honors with a giant largemouth bass weighing 8.12 pounds which earned them $270.
Jeff and Josh Reed also won the $100 bonus for being the highest finishing Tow Boat U.S. members in the event.
Thomas Henshaw and Dusty Elrod won the biggest spot award with a spotted bass weighing 2.15 pounds and earned them $90.
The duo of John Mantooth and Matt Jenkins won the biggest smallmouth award with a smallmouth bass weighing 3.62 pounds which was worth another $90.
The team of Thomas Henshaw and Dusty Elrod were the highest finishing new team in the event which earned them a free entry into next month's event.
