GREENBRIER, TN (WSMV) -

Officials say at least five people were hurt in a single-vehicle crash Friday evening in Robertson County.

The wreck was reported before 8 p.m. along Edgar Dillard Road near Betts Road in the Greenbrier area.

Multiple medical helicopters were dispatched to the scene, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating.

THP said the preliminary investigation shows the driver was attempting to negotiate a curve when it traveled to the other side of the road, overcorrected, struck a tree and then overturned.

Two people were ejected, and three others were injured.

Their identities and the extent of their injuries have not been released.
