HUNTSVILLE, AL (WSMV) -

An anonymous tip from the public led to the arrest of a fugitive on the TBI Most Wanted list in north Alabama.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Anthony Dean Blackwell, 24, was arrested by the VooDoo lounge on Southside Square after receiving a call stating that Blackwell was standing outside.

Police located Blackwell, whose last known address was in Huntsville, and took him into custody about 1 a.m. Friday at Big Spring Park without incident.

Blackwell, who was placed on the most wanted list on Thursday, was wanted by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Pulaski Police Department on one count of rape of a child.

Authorities allege on June 9 Blackwell was babysitting a 4-month-old baby at a Pulaski home. When the infant's mother returned home, she noticed signs of trauma later determined to be injuries suffered from sexual abuse. The victim underwent surgery at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.
