Body recovered from river is 19-year-old Nolensville man

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Police have identified a body that was recovered from the Cumberland River in west Nashville on Tuesday night.

The body, identified as Samuel Christopher Hagens, 19, of Nolensville, TN, was found three miles east of the Cleeces Ferry boat ramp.

Hagens was seen Friday morning acting strangely at a public bus station located at Fourth and Charlotte avenues.

Police said he ran from the location to Third Avenue before jumping off the Victory Memorial Bridge at 8:30 a.m.
