Landscaper robbed at gunpoint in Mt. Juliet

MOUNT JULIET, TN (WSMV) -

Mt. Juliet police are investigating an armed robbery Tuesday afternoon in the Providence area off Boxcroft Circle.

Investigators say two men robbed a landscaper at gunpoint then left the scene in a tan 2000 model Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Officers say there is no current danger to the public, but one of the suspects fired off a gunshot during the robbery. No injuries were reported.

Police describe the suspects as black males in their early 20s. One has long hair and a black shirt while the other has short hair and a green shirt.
