(WRCB) - Good Sunday. After amazing weather yesterday, we should be about as nice today. I do think we will see a little more humidity creeping in late today, which could even lead to a few isolated storms late today into tonight. Highs today will be about where they were yesterday, in the upper 80s.
Next week will be interesting. Temperatures will be a bit lower, and rain chances will be a bit higher.
A stubborn trough of low pressure is going to lay to our east over the next few days. That will create a more unstable atmosphere, and draw up moisture into the area from the Gulf of Mexico. that will increase our rain chances Monday through Wednesday to about 40% or 50%. Highs starting the week will be in the mid 80s.
By Thursday, that low pressure trough will drift westward over the area, bringing us heavy rain both Thursday and Friday.
