HARTSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A Trousdale County man was arrested today for sexually abusing a child, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

According to a news release, the TBI arrested James Justin Jellison, 29, of Hartsville, and charged him with two counts of rape of a child and two counts of aggravated sexual battery of a child.

On June 17, the 15th Judicial District attorney general requested TBI investigate allegations against Jellison after a family member of the victim reported the potential abuse to the Trousdale County Sheriff's Office. Jellison admitted abusing the boy to the TBI and a Trousdale County detective. Investigators believe the abuse took place between December 2012 and March 2013.

Jellison was booked into the Trousdale County Jail on $100,000 bond. The Trousdale County Sheriff's Office assisted in the investigation.
